Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account using Sign in with Apple, Google Sign-In, or another supported login method, we collect the account information provided to us, such as your email address, display name, and profile photo when available. You may also create a username within the app.

Recovery Data

We collect data you voluntarily enter into the app, including your clean date, journal entries, step work notes, 10th step inventories, gratitude lists, meeting attendance records, home group information, and sponsorship tree data (names, relationships, contact information, and notes).

Friend Connections

When you connect with other users, we store friend connections, activity feed posts, meeting plan data, and milestone celebrations.

Subscription Information

If you subscribe to Recovery Co-Pilot Premium, we store your subscription status. Payment processing is handled by the platform through which you purchase your subscription. We never see or store your full payment card details.

Analytics

We collect anonymous usage data through Firebase Analytics to understand how the app is used and to improve the experience. This data is not linked to your identity.

Push Notifications

We collect push notification tokens through Firebase Cloud Messaging to deliver notifications you have opted into, such as friend requests, milestone celebrations, and meeting reminders.

How We Use Your Information

All personal recovery data is used solely to provide app functionality. We use your information to operate and maintain your account, display your clean time and recovery tools, enable friend connections and community features, send push notifications you have opted into, process and manage your subscription status, and improve the app through anonymous analytics.

How We Do Not Use Your Information

We do NOT sell your data to any third party. We do NOT use your data for advertising or ad targeting. We do NOT track you across other apps or websites. We do NOT share your personal recovery data with anyone outside your chosen connections. We do NOT display ads in the app.

Third-Party Services

We use third-party services to operate the app, including Firebase Authentication, Firebase Firestore, Firebase Cloud Messaging, Firebase Analytics, and Firebase Storage. These services help us provide account access, secure cloud data storage, notifications, analytics, profile photos, and shared images. These services may be operated by third parties such as Google and are subject to their own privacy policies.

Data Security

Your data is encrypted in transit using industry-standard TLS/SSL encryption. Firebase Firestore encrypts data at rest. Your 10th Step inventory is stored locally on your device only and is never uploaded to our servers.

Your Rights and Choices

Account Deletion: You can delete your account and associated data at any time from within the app, subject to any limited retention required by law.

Privacy Controls: You control what information is shared with friends through the app's privacy settings.

Push Notifications: You can disable push notifications at any time through your device settings.

Friend Connections: You can remove friends and block other users at any time.

Age Requirement

You must be 17 years or older to use Recovery Co-Pilot. The app deals with addiction recovery content and is not intended for children.
